A Look Back at Last Year's Collection
When I sat down to design last fall's collection, I kept coming back to one idea: texture and light. Not a season, not a trend, just the way a piece catches the light as a bride moves through her special day.
That's where it started. Silk roses, hand-shaped one petal at a time. Whisper-thin satin ribbon, chosen because it moves the way real ribbon should. Pearls with just enough lustre to catch the late afternoon sun during a first look or the moonlight on a dance floor. And lace, a staple that continues to return and shine in each collection.
Every piece in this collection was handcrafted here in New York and beyond, by hands that care as much about the hundredth stitch as the first. I don't think heirlooms can be rushed. They're built slowly, intentionally, and to last.
What I love most about looking back on this collection is remembering the brides who wore it. The ones who added a vintage inspired veil to a modern gown because it felt like them. The ones who chose pearls because their mother wore pearls. Every accessory in this line was made to be found by someone it was already meant for.
As I get ready to bring the next collection to New York Bridal Fashion Week, I keep thinking about how much of what's coming is really an extension of everything you'll see below. The same texture, the same light, taken somewhere new.
Thank you for being here for all of it. I can't wait to show you what's next.
